BLUHome

This website includes important information regarding the 2017-2018 Electrical Engineering senior design project that involves managing home appliances through power line communication, which takes place in Texas A&M University at Qatar.

The BLUHome (BLU:Broad Line Utility) project aims to construct a more intelligent home automation system that is able to detect faults within home appliances. Power line communication (PLC) is a technology that can achieve higher standards of managing appliances at a lower cost, the team believes that PLC technology will contribute in fulfilling a more intelligent home automation system.

The team behind BLUHome plans to present a demonstration of the project at the end of April 2018.
